Now for the review of Joe Figueroa's DVD's.

This is the best Bachata instructional DVD out there period. There is so much in these two DVD's. The closed position partner work, open position partner work, musicality and shines. Everything, just everything.... that I always wanted in a Bachata DVD, and explained really well, and it has my favourite instructor in the whole world - Edie. The closed position partner work has amazing moves such as deep side drag.. OMG.. I have so much fun with that. The open position partner work with the Angel step, and the spin on count 4 add dimensions I never knew existed to my Bachata. Jazzy describes these concepts as well, and has some amazing moves for the open position Bachata partner work too - I love Jazzy's Bachata DVD as well. Regarding shines, one of the DVD's explains the Dominican style footwork, that has the syncopated step. I always wondered what was different about the Dominican style of Bachata. I saw somebody do the shuffle step in Bachata and always wondered how that was, and it is here in the DVD. Wait, there are more shines, especially the syncopated shines.. love the shines. And lastly, the musicality.. the best way I can describe all that is ..... elegant interpretation of Music from a true Bachata Maestro, Joe. Love it all.
